Gregory Gay is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's degree in Counseling. He has over 26 years of experience in working with individuals, couples and their families. These years are comprised of 14 years of pastoral counseling followed by 12 years as a licensed professional counselor.
Gregory is effective at helping both couples and individuals in therapy. He is sought after for his extensive experience in working with Substance Use Disorders and finds satisfaction in helping individuals overcome any addictions they may be struggling with. Gregory is trained in the Gottman method and he frequently works with couples seeking couples therapy to help them successfully navigate their relationships. Gregory knows his material and uses the well researched ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) method to help individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma and many other mental health conditions find a path that will bring the healing and change that they are seeking.
Greg is a seminary trained Christian counselor but is ecumenical in his therapy approach in that he allows the client to utilize their own faith or none at all in their counseling journey. Greg is very relatable and meets everybody at exactly where they are at with no judgment. He finds great joy in helping clients navigate through their life's journey.
