Children's Counseling              ages 7-17

When it comes to your children, you want to be sure to pick the best.  Our therapists spend a large percentage of their schedule helping children ages 7-17.  Young children and teenagers alike come with some uniquely challenging issues, so it is important to choose a specialist who understands how to relate to them and who can teach them the skills that they need to overcome even the toughest situations.

Adult Individual Counseling

All of our therapists are trained in adult individual counseling.   No matter what life has thrown at you, our therapists are here to help.  Whether you are suffering from depression, anxiety, grief, anger,  a traumatic event, or another issue that is hindering your life, our therapists are qualified and are able to provide you with the help that you need.  If you are fighting addictions or looking for relationship counseling please check out those specific specialties to ensure you get the therapist that is right for you.

Couples Counseling

Relationships can be difficult and challenging and sometimes you may feel as if all is lost.  But there is HOPE. Whether you are struggling with trust issues, infidelity, intimacy, communication, or just wanting skills to improve your relationship, we can help.  Our therapists can provide you skills to help improve communication, heal past wounds, and increase understanding.  With a trained therapist helping to mediate your differences, you can find the happiness and satisfaction that you are searching for. 

Family Counseling

Family therapy is designed to help family members improve communication skills and resolve conflicts.  Family therapy can be useful in any family situation that causes stress, grief, anger or conflict.  It can help you and your family members understand one another better and learn coping skills to bring you closer together.   Generally, our therapists will do a few family therapy sessions to supplement the individual therapy of a child or an adult.  Family therapy is not couples counseling.  If you are looking for couples counseling, please look at that specialty for a list of therapists that do couples counseling.

Geriatric Counseling

There are unique challenges that comes with aging and it can be difficult adjusting to this new stage of life.  These therapists accept Medicare and have experience with topics that typically come with growing older, whether it be losing a loved one, loneliness, depression, or adjusting to you aging body and the limitations that brings.

Addictions Counseling

Whether you are just realizing that you may have an addiction or it is something that you have been struggling with for years, we have therapists that can help you learn the skills needed to be able to overcome the addiction once and for all.  Our therapists will help you get to the underlying cause of your addiction and teach you the skills that are necessary to succeed.  You can beat your addiction and we can help.


Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy technique that helps people heal from the symptoms of emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences.  Studies have shown that EMDR can provide benefits that used to take years of therapy to achieve.  For more information on how EMDR works you can visit Our EMDR therapists have spent years of additional training to become EMDR Trained and even more time for those who are EMDR Certified. These therapists continue to go to new trainings to maintain this certification. 

DBT Skills

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is an innovative method of treatment that has been developed specifically to meet the needs and address changes faced by individuals with mood and behavior issues.  DBT skills have been found particularly effective for clients struggling with Borderline Personality and other mood disorders. These therapists have had special training in DBT and are effective in using these skills to help you.


* At this time, our office does not offer the complete DBT program (with groups and workbooks) however we do teach the DBT skills in an individual therapy setting.

Christian Counseling

Christian Counseling refers to the ability to incorporate the belief of God as a higher power and to support therapy with values and beliefs taught in the bible in order to help clients through their trials.  Some of our therapists are able to provide Christian counseling to those who desire it.

Groups and Classes
